Finally managed to wrestle the computer from Tina, but, lamentably, I am too exhausted to write much after walking Milan for 12 hours. I am nursing an ale and an ailment (sore feet).
In a nutshell, we…..
Walked the fashion district of Milan, went to La Scala Theatre, Il Duomo, the Victor Emmanuele shopping centre, Il Castello and adjacent park. BUT…. The top prize for goose bumps today must go to Da Vinci’s Last Supper painting. I’m sure Tina will fill in the details tomorrow with many adjectives and pics!

Ciao Tina and Paolo !! Milano is amazing, I have relatives in Milano and I stayed with them for 8 months back in (1990) so much to see and do. La Scala is great as is Piazza Duomo and surrounding shops and all other places you mentioned, love all the Arcades ! Did you stomp on the Bulls Balls in the Arcade near La Scala ?
ReplyDeleteMy cousins and auntie live 15 min by tram from the Duomo, so I spent a lot of time around the Duomo and in the city centre ! Have you had a cappuccino at CAFFE MOTTA ? I loved all the perfume shops....have fun and look after those feet :) Love Angela xx
